The examination is round the corner, and next week is a good time for your children to revise at their own pace at home. To begin with, next Monday is a school holiday in lieu of Deepavali, while Tuesday to Friday is PSLE marking exercise, whereby teachers would be deployed to different schools to mark the PSLE scripts, so children do not need to come to school next week!
The children had been asked to clear the stuff under their desks as well as their locker starting today. So if you still cannot locate any textbook, activity book, files etc, please try searching for them in the bundle that they bring home today or tomorrow.
Burning midnight oil is never something that we should encourage our children to do. Hopefully after a week of revision, they would be fully charged for the real thing! Acknowledge their effort, praise them generously when they have improved. coach them with patience when they still cannot understand a concept or still make small mistakes after several reminders. These are the things that I usually have difficulty practising and have to always remind myself to do, either as a teacher or as a mother. However, during this crucial period, these are exactly the emotional vitamins that they need to sail through their first examination. 所以，大家加油吧！
