This coming week would be a really busy one before the school breaks for the term. The planned events are as follows:
9 & 10 March : Meet-the-Parents session
(venue: Primary 1A classroom, hilltop classrooms, level 1, right wing)
11 March (Wednesday) : Completion of hanyin pinyin chapter 9 of textbook (hanyu pinyin "ang, eng, ong, ing". I will remind the children to bring back their textbook for revision.
12 March (Thursday) : Return of Chinese blue file and activity book, distribution of holiday assignment.
Kindly sign on the cover page of the blue file and page 35 of activity book. Holiday homework will also be given to the children to reinforce their learning, of which one is an interactive online game.WOW!
I will update the blog again with details of the holiday assignment. Kindly supervise your child with the holiday homework.
In the event that your child is absent on this day, I will leave the holiday package (of assignment, though:) ) with the general office. You may collect it during the school holiday, just quote your child's name and his or her class.
13 March (Friday) : Aqua Fiesta cum swimming carnival
- If you have read the notice and noted that attendance is compulsory, why not bring your child with other family members along and have a day of family fun!
- If your child is joining in the fun without parents' supervision, our school teachers who have been assigned pupil warden will bring the children around and watch them have fun and definitely join in the fun with them.
- Tickets are sold at $20 per set, and the food and games are priced at $1 to $2 per game or per serving.
